Jodha Akbar is a love story of the 16th century, the political marriage of convenience between the ruler of the Mughal Akbar and Rajput princess Jodha. But this is more than a marriage of convenience.
Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar, who had inherited from his father Humayun Mughal Empire in the 13 years after his death, came to the throne as an experienced warrior, expertly trained Bairam Khan - commander of his father. Stubborn, rude, cruel, and he prided himself besserdechnyy- for all these qualities he possessed. The only thing that Akbar chose a purpose - it is to expand the boundaries of his empire at the expense of others' lives, feelings, and by love. At that time, as Jodha - the daughter of Raja Bharmala, the ruler of the kingdom of Rajputs (one of the richest kingdoms of the time) - valued every sense, appreciate life even defenseless birds and the bees of the kingdom, where she was, she was burning with hatred for the Mughal rulers, which aiming to win her native land. Jodha also wanted to oust the rulers of these lands with the Rajputs with their emperor Jalaluddin, whom she hated with all my heart.

Akbar before marriage with a fiery Rajput princess Jodha and did not realize that in their desire to expand his empire to the lands of the valiant Rajputs, he plunge into a new journey - the journey to true love. It will open a heart that previously never felt. That his heart will beat for his one true love Jodha.
